Serpentine

Wah, my scanner is still too small! It cut off the entire tail! I was kind of proud of the spine i drew at the end as well ; P Anyways... this was just a way to alleviate boredom, no real intent behind it. I wanted to try and draw a slight variation on the traditional dragon form while killing time, so this happened. It actually turned out really well, in my opinion I'm proud of the way it's neck definition and collarbone work together, it took me quite a few tries to get that right. I spent quite a bit more time on this particular work than i normally do, so i'm glad it actually turned out.

When people gave me positive feedback for the scale work i did on my last dragon (see "Hellfire", ), i wanted to see if i could do it again

Approximate time to complete: 3 1/2 to 4 hours (mainly getting the form correct)
Materials: HB pencil, eraser (i'm actually quite surprised that i didn't use any softer leads)
